Rachael's Ribbons of Hope

 We had another beautiful day for the Blossom Festival Parade.  We won 3rd place in the youth catagory.  We were all so excited about that!!  We are already thinking about designs for next years float.  We handed out 400 bags of candy to kids with a business card attached and that only covered about 1/3 of the parade route, so next year we will have alot more work ahead of us.

We had a great day for the run and it seemed like everyone that attended had a good time as well.  We had about 138 runners.  The Hooters girls ran and took pictures, the Stormtroopers were there having fun with the people around, Porsche brought out a limited edition Boxster and let people sit in it and take pictures.  Summit Race Management was wonderful with helping get people signed up and timing the race.  To check your time you can go to their website at www.summitracemanagement.com

Chick-fil-a was out with food and Joint Juice passed out bottles of their product as the runners crossed the finish line. 

We want to give thanks to Team Roger that brought out 15 walkers and raised $900.00.  $110.00 of that coming from donations from Stewart Title of Colorado Springs and $115.00 coming from The Platinum Group realtors.  Well done!   

We are still working on final numbers but we know that we were able to raise over $4,000.00 on this event!
